sounds like frankie vallie. doesn't have al long intro, goes right into the song. Goes by the original lyrics. that's all i can remember of the song.....if you can tel me which artist i'm looking for. you are my hero!

It could indeed be The Four Seasons. They did have a number of Christmas songs that were hits. Ttheir most famous is probably their version of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town".

A young (at the time) black singer named JOHNNY MANTHIS had a hit with that song back in the late 50's early 60's... he ALSO sang one of my FAVORITE tunes of all time called THE Twelth of Never.... he had a High tenor voice....still does as a matter of fact.
