They are many persons, animal handlers / keepers they name them self “HERPETOLOGIST”, normally they work with snakes, crocodiles, alligators, turtles, lizards, and other reptiles, but are they wearily Biologists or Zoologist with the right to name them “HERPETOLOGIST”, many TV Stars, in wildlife programs name them “HERPETOLOGISTS” but they never study in an university, what’s up with this profession / title, everybody can name his self an “HERPETOLOGIST”?

OK 1) Don't spam questions. Its against the rules. 2) Are you some angry herpetologist? 3) If they spend their time learning and studying about reptiles, they can probably call themselves herpetologists or amateur herpetologists or herpetology enthusiasts if they want.

I go to lots of geological conferences and they are filled with people who do not have geology degrees but they are geologists anyway because they study the Earth.
