To me it sounds masculine even though heaps of ppl are naming their girls that at the moment... Maddison is feminine and Addison is masculine, to me

it is definately both masculine and femine... just like jordan and tracey. I love addison for a guys name but there are a lot of girls being named addison.
from the looks of it there are ALOT of guys names being used for girls lately so soon enough it wont even be a thought

It is both feminine and masculine, it is very much a unisex name.. There's a little boy at my church named Cayleb Addison and then Kelsi Osborn (of the group SHeDAISY named one of her twin daughters Addison). It can go either way IMO, I like it for both boys and girls. Everyone has their own opinion though.

Until Grey's Anatomy, I'd never heard of it as a first name at all...but there was a family with that last name who grew up down the street from us.

Definitely masculine. It's got "-son" right in the ending, how more obvious does it need to be? I can't stand people who give their girls boys' names.

I love that name. It is so cute. I think it could be either but sounds a little more like a guy's name.
