Dr. Pepper and vanilla ice cream. We had a soda fountain (I'm an old fart) at the drug store (they don't do this anymore), a favorite was a Vernor's Ginger Ale and vanilla ice cream float. It had to be Vernor's. Not another Ginger Ale is made that has the same taste.

Gwen read my mind. I didn't think anyone remembered cherry cokes but mine was the soda fountain variety,not bottled and that was back in the 40's when we schook kids went to the local downtown soda fountain hangout. I don't think anyone serves them anymore and you cannot beat root beer floats. We buy the A&W lg. bottles of their r.b and make our own at home. Hate it though that my dress sizes seem to be shrinking!!!

Well, my favorite soda in the world has to be Dr. Pepper. It's so good. Ahh!! After Dr. Pepper theres always Fanta. But I try to drink water. Laugh Out Loud.

mine is coke. but seriously, i shouldn't have it. I stopped drinking it for a while, but then I tried it, and it tasted good but all the caffiene made my stomache hurt. I have to say I should go healthy again. But, do you want to know the straingest things? Right when I started not being as healthy as I should, people said it seems like I am loosing weight, so its confusing.

Not sure if this is a soda but I used to love blackcurrant juice mixed with milk. We were poor couldn't afford anything with a fizz.

Homemade lemonade from the lemons off our tree! That tree smelled so wonderful. It was right outside my parent's bedroom window and the aroma would drift all through the house when the window was open!
