NO. This is the height of hypocrisy. We rely on tax money to fund many programs. One of the biggest money makers is the cigarette tax. Cigarettes are a deadly addictive drug that is legal, but we can't buy penicillin over the counter.
Why does our government allow a drug as addictive as heroin to be sold legally?

Cigerates kill only the people who smoke them, and they don't become delusional after using tobacco, as would many other drugs. Such as marajuana can impare your judgment and get other people killed because of it.

Also, you might be unaware of the amount of homosides in the U.S. becuase of illegal drug trafficing, if tobacco was outlawed when decent percentage of Americans smoke there might be a similiar rise in bootlegging and violence as there was in the 1920s due to the alcohol prohibition. Which was later abolished, and moved the drinking age to 21.

Ever seen a whacked out smoker go on a killing rampage to get more ciggy's? See alot of nicotined drivers plowing over kids?

Tobacco is a threat only to the user. Elicit drugs cause mind-altering effects and lead to the harm of others in many cases.

Really mentat, please show us some evidence of the effects of second-hand smoke, it is a lie.
