I used to like to cuddle with my wife while sleeping, but she wanted her space and said I made her hot. And not hot in a sexual way.

How we sleep has changed over the years. When we were first married, we always cuddled at night - comfort was not nearly as important as being close. Then, as the kids came along - and he began to snore - we gradually moved far apart in our bed, eventually ending up in separate rooms at night. We became so distant in other ways as well that we nearly ended up divorced. This summer we went on a romantic getaway together - where we had to share a bed all night again - and our marriage is now better than ever. Sleeping cuddled together at night has made an amazing difference in our relationship. We're so good at it now that if one of us moves, rolls over , etc., the other moves too, so we end up cuddled in a different way - but always touching. I find that now I can't sleep if we are not at least touching in some way. It makes me wonder how we survived all those years of sleeping without touching.

unless by some odd chance that your bodies perfectly compliment each other, its really uncomfortable to sleep cuddled up to your spouse. I personally have a hard time falling asleep cuddling, and can hardly sleep if he's touching me at all. Weird i know. Not nessisarily seperate sides of the bed, but not spooning either...

At the minute I am almost 6 months pregnant but I still like to sleep cuddled up to Dan. We always have slept wrapped up together. I can't sleep otherwise. It's lovely in the Winter and in the summer--well-- we have air conditioning!

Most of the time we start out cuddling and end up on seperate sides of the bed. If it's hot then it's kinda uncomfortable being so close.

We sleep cuddled up at first, but always end up turning opposite ways by the end of the night

Separate beds is never a good idea.

Cuddling is good but you may need to have your space just so you can sleep but cuddle as much as you can.

i guess it depends on the mood your in or he. we have been together only 7 yrs and sometimes we cuddle and sometimes we sleep on separate sides. he gets overheated so fast that it is hard to sleep so close because then in return i get hot and uncomfortable.... so it is whatever you both like i don't think everyone cuddles at night and if so i am in the wrong relationship..lol!! but anyways whatever is comfortable for the both of you...
