In the dim and distant past
When life's tempo wasn't so fast,
Grandma used to rock and knit,
Crochet, tat and baby sit.
When the kids were in a jam,
They could always call on Gram.
But today she's in the gym
Exercising to keep slim.
She's checking the web or surfing the net,
Sending some e-mail or placing a bet.
Nothing seems to stop or block her,
Now that Grandma's off her rocker.
Today is my day for funnees! lol

Nail on the head. A lot of grandma's have changed. But yo can still fit time in for your family and grandchildren, and they should be doing that> Good one!

Thanks for sharing. I'm not particularly adept at the needles. I still haven't finished an afghan I started when my mother died and I acquired all her yarn.
However, the afghan now has a name. It's "That D@mn Afghan."
Somewhere in this house I have a rocker. I just have to find it under the debris.

Got news Sugar! Some of us are doing a heck of a lot more then that.
We have businesses to run, hiking in the sun.
Riding jets skis, travelin', etc. & having more fun.
I bust my a** from morning till done
doing more then I did when young.
You forget sweet lass
