Sophia Lorraine, now that's going to be a pretty name. I also like Sofia Lorraine, it's just as pretty.
Then there's Soffia Lorraine. I'm sorry, it almost looks like a completely different name than Sophia. The "off" in the middle of the name kind of throws it off (no pun intended).
I would stick with Sofia or Sophia. :-)

It's ultimatly your decision. keep in mind, kids are cruel and most likely the spelling of her name (Soffia) will turn into Sofa.
Maybe the name spelt Sophya would fill your "funky" need.
I've named my kids using the "Y" instead of an "I"
Tanysha & Ayden
My name is Shelia (pronounced Sha-Lay-Ah) Everyone called me Sheila because the spelling looked similar to the untrained eye, basically the L and the I were switched around put pronounced totally different She-La I hated it. But I love my name.

i like the spelling of sophia better than soffia, that just makes the name look like sofa. maybe another spelling if you really don't like sophia but i can't think of another way to spell that or maybe have it as a middle name

Hmm... I would stick with Sophia. If you give her a "funky" spelling, she'll just have it misspelled for the rest of her life. I love the name Sophia! Good luck and God bless!

Well remember that it is your child and not you that has to live with this "different spelling".
She will forever have to correct people any time she gives her name and will probably always have to spell it for them.
My nieces name is Teena and she HATES having to always tell people it is Teena and not Tina. She said once she wished it was spelled the regular way.

i love when people create their own spelling of common names. not that sophia is a common name, but i think its a really cute idea. just dont spell it in a way that will confuse people- just be creative. =)

i love unique spellings and it is a lot more common now to see variations of the same name. I think you should do it! Soffeha would be a cool way to spell it too.
