Sure, but not a very nice one. That is less than $20K per year.

Most apartment complexes require you to make three times the monthly rent. If the rent is $600 per month then your gross monthly salary must be at least $1800 per month. So depending on how much you gross monthly will dictate how much of an apartment you can afford. Also remember you'd have to pay electricity and cable on top of that plus groceries etc.

Best thing right now would be to look for someone who has a house or an apartment and has a room to rent. They don't require you to make 3 x the monthly rent and it usually includes all utilities, this way if you can't make the rent that month you can at least work with your roommate rather than be subject to eviction if you rent your own apartment.

Good luck

It would depend on how many hours you work. If you work 40 hrs/ week that would be about 1480.00 per month, since you are to spend no more than 1/3 your income on housing that would be appx $493.00/ month on rent. I know where I live you can get an apartment for 500.00/ month.

I'm confused if you are renting or buying. Honestly for either, the answer is no. However, I would look online on your local craigslist.org for a room for rent in a house or apt. That you might be able to afford if you need to find new housing or want to move from your current location.
