There are ten, the poster is 28" by 18.5" inches, and I want the pictures to be all the same size. I also want the poster set up like this: first column, 2 pictures, second column, 3 pics, 3rd, 2 pics, and 4th 3 pics. I want spaces b/w all the pics, and no pictures can be touching the edge, there needs to be a space, albeit a tiny one. Feel free to give answers in centimeters. THIS IS NOT HOMEWORK, IT IS A REAL POSTER FOR AN EXTRACURRICULAR. Thanks.

Divide the height by 3 (because the biggest column is 3 high) and the width by 4 (because there are 4 columns), and those are the max possible dimensions of a photo.

Shrink as necessary from there until you think the whole thing will look good.

Frankly, it would probably be more proportionate if you had 4 rows and 3 columns rather than the other way around.
