I was walking on the sidewalk and came home. After a few minutes, I started looking for where a very bad smell was coming from. It turns out, I stepped on dog poop on my right Converse chuck shoe.

How do I get the poop off my shoe? I tried wiping it off with soap, water, and paper towels, but the residue is still there. Plus, it still smells. >.<

Well, it's definitely not rocket science. Get a wire brush or an old tooth brush to get between the grooves.

I don't normally do this but in the case of dog poop, I will put the shoe in the washer and then let it air dry afterwards. That stench is very hard to get out otherwise.

Perhaps, you can find sprinkler watering in the park.... Otherwise, you're probably stuck with going home to your garden hose....
