I like both but the old ones seem to have a more realistic, spookier feel to them

I am a big fan of the old black & white horror movies. I think they are more "mysterious" a different feel to them. I also really like the corny Grade B or "Grade Z" type movies. They arent as scarey, but they left more to the imagination.

Advances in technology other than color vs B&W have allowed special effects in the newer movies that were not available 50 years ago. The other side of the coin is: there is very little imagination going into the newer movies. They're all remakes of the classics.

Prefer the newer colour ones, that could be because I was brought up on old black and whites and find the newer more realistic

The old black and white ones. I loved the Dracula and Frankenstein movies. They were more thrilling than today"s horror films.

I watch black and white ones but they don't seem to scare me at all, not like the recent ones

I hate old ones in black and white, have never been captivated, it's boring...no special effects. I like new ones, bc they give me the chills or have me up all night lol esp ghost stories...creepy

new ones are scary so i love them but if im in the mood i like a black and white one.
