I've always bought 34B (except when pregnant/nursing). The other day I had my measurements taken as part of a wellness drive at work, and it turns out my chest (under bust) is 32, and my bust size is 38!!! (this is with T-shirt and bra on). Does this mean I've been buying the wrong size bra all these years?

underbust of 32 = band of 36 (32+4)
38-36 = B
You measure to a 36B -- for the same size cup that would be a 34C.
You will find, that if you get measured three times a day (morning, noon, evening), every day of the month, that your size changes by as much as a band throughout the month.

To get your proper size you ought to talk to someone at Sears, JCPenney or Nordstroms to size you. I do NOT recommend Victoria Secret as they size incorrectly.
Sounds like you are a 36B and not a 34B.
Try out different bras around that size as bras do not have standardized measurements and you could be a 34B in one bra and a 36B in another bra and a 34C in yet another!

You possible got wrong size the bra. If I were you to make sure get right size when you measure the bra correctly. If I were you, get someone to help you to mreasure your bra before you buy new once.

convinced it does. it may influence the shape and how briskly your breast develop. I used to positioned on the incorrect length and changed into continuously like why am I so small? yet at the same time as i began operating at a bra save I were given measured and discorvered my actual bra length and they honestly began to toughen. It changed into impressive. i could say get measured for one. :D

That would make you a 36B, but a 34C or 38A may also fit. These are called sister sizes and all fit pretty much the same.
