It appears that retailers who issue Western Union Money Orders don't necessarily have to cash them. I have been everywhere in my town to find a place that will cash this piece of paper. I don't have a bank account because I was under the impression that money orders were used mostly for people who don't have accounts with banks. I have urgent bills to pay. If you have any ideas it would be very helpful. I live in

People without bank accounts buy them but most people receiving have bank accounts. You will need to open an account and wait for the deposit to clear it may be several days. Money orders are easier to forge than cash so aren't always good.

Check the yellow pages for a western union nearest you, they should give yo the money, or how to cash it at least.
Try calling them on the phone.

Go open a bank account. Use the money order as the initial deposit.

Try calling them. They must have an 800 number. Or check their web site.
Or can't the retailers who sell them even tell you where to cash them??

Ok try asking a friend with a account to cash it for you .or take it to a westeren union place explain this to them!
