yes you did ask for a fraction, not a mixed number.

Watch Jean Guy's answer, it's very good.,

you take the 15 and make that into a fraction itself with denominator 8 since you know .125 = 1/8.
15*8/8 = 120/8 + your 1/8 from .125 = 121/8

note: that improper fraction means the absolute value of the numerator is more (as opposed to less) than the denominator

If you dont want to put that number into a fraction yourself, then you could just put that number into a graphing calculator. First just type in 15.125 then press enter and press MATH and click 1: >Frac and press enter and then you will get 121/8.
