I was curious let's say an affluent couple have a baby and they want to give it up for adoption and of course they want the best for their child-- and a single lady with a job wants to adopt the child, BUT, she also wants the biological father to pay child support even though it is not her own. Is this possible and have you ever heard of something like this before.

I am 42 and am looking to adopt. I can't afford the high fees to get a child, but I can afford to raise one if the father helps financially. YOur thoughts.

I don't imagine that would work out. I would think the reason why the parents would give a child up for adoption in the first place would be because they want nothing to do with the child -- for whatever reason. Why would they pay for a child to which they would have no connection or relationship with?

Usually before one adopts a child the CAS does a background check on the adopter: family status, income level etc. They want to make sure the child will be in a good home.
This is nothing against you, but it is all based on guidelines set by the CAS.

In my opinion, if you can't afford the baby without financial support from someone else, then you're not ready for a baby. I don't have a problem with single parents, but every child deserves a loving mother AND father in their lives. But, the biological father in this case shouldn't have to support the baby because you can't afford it. He and tghe biological mother placed the baby up for a reason.

Ive never heard of that, and i dont think it would go very far in court. The parents are giving their baby up for adoption, that means signing over their parental rights, one of which is financially supporting the child. Dont adopt a baby if you cannot afford to raise one on your own.

One note! Outrageous!! your question truly takes the cake.. truly now, imagine about it... if the mum and father are wealthy , why could they provide up their toddler for adoption contained in the first position?? And why do you imagine that "if " you've been fortunate sufficient to undertake this toddler. that you're feeling you may be entitled to monetary help from the daddy?? of route. when you're at 40 2 unable to undertake and raise a baby on your man or woman.. why do you imagine someone will drop a baby on your lap and help them for you also?? and reckoning on how old the youngster is at the same time as followed they could ought to help that kid until eventually college age( 20 years ) at which era. could n't your old age safe practices click in??

You should not be looking to adopt if you can not afford to raise the child.

In short: you'd like a baby, but you can't afford to raise a child. So, you'd like a guy you have no relationship to give you money to raise a child...?

Get a life.

There's no such child out there.

You are not what's best for that child.
