Yea i agree with the more ghetto she gets, the more turned off her older white audience will be.. Her gong from the earl 90's were on point though.. they appealed to more than just one group of people.

Sorry but the title of the new album is "the adventures of Mimi" and it will be released in November. Her new movie is what will be released in December. Who knows what the outcome will be, she's getting older and wiser. I've read the lyrics to one of the songs on the album titled "I feel it" sounds different but that's Mariah. I'm more concerned about her performance in the next movie because I've got something to do with another script that could easily be titled "the adventure of Mimi continues." I'm feeling that she'll pick up on a new number one single out of the deal, we'll see what happens.

It is being released during the holiday season, which is wise, since the industry slows down then with new releases & the initial single should have a clear path to be in major rotation on radio stations. It will get a heavy push and music buyers will have a few extra dollars in their pockets and in search of new material. It will reach #1 and stay in the Top Ten for several months.

I'm in the fan club and the name has not been confirmed yet or the release date but besides that it is going to be a HUGE hit (or at least it better be). Everyone blew the whole "breakdown" way out of proportion but she proved that she is still the number one selling female artist of all time with The Emancipation of Mimi and her next album is going to reinforce that.

I'm not sure if her cd is going to be good or not. She usually always has some nice songs, so it may be good. By the way her music isn't ghetto, it's just more urban.
