what info did you give away in the e mail reply... if it was id and soc sec and bank info you need to notify the bank and the 3 credit bureaus to put fraud alerts on your accounts and your ss number if any fraudulent activity is found u need to file a police report to verify the fraud ...usually the bank will reimburse you for any funds that are missing ...

what kind of mail ??
did u put personal info???
if so u can contact one of your credit scoring companies and subscribe for a protection ( which I forgot the name of it) if someone uses your info to open an account, that person would not be able to do so, until you are contacted personally
