It was a story of teen lovers who met when the new girl moved in. The girl would always wear a red ribbon around her neck. When the boy took the ribbon off the girls head came off with it. Do you have a link to the story or the name of it?

I checked out the howitworks site and it does indeed have an illustrated version of the story. However, having looked at other short stories that the site provides which I'm more familiar with (ie. The Monkey's Paw), I know that the site only has shortened, less detailed versions of the actual story for The Red Ribbon. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding a better, more compete version. GL!
