They need some fresh arms in the bullpen. And, as a regular fan of their Triple A affiliate in Las Vegas, I can tell you those arms sure aren't here. But, more importantly, I think they need to get rid of the uniform "hex". I even mentioned it to Frank McCourt when he visited our ball park this season. From 1952 to 1997 the Dodgers' home jersey had never changed its look. Blue lettering on a white jersey with red numbers below the letters on the front of the jersey. Then they added that large "LA" to the left sleeve of the home jersey. They haven't been to the World Series since. I'm just surprised that Vin Scully hasn't gotten around to mentioning the "Curse of the Sleeve" as yet.

Not that I'm a Dodger fan but please don't tell they or anyone else is considering giving Andrew Jones mega bucks and a long term deal. His lack of strike zone discipline is sickening, great defender and occasional power but that's about it. The most I would give him is a one year deal to try and prove himself again.
