You won't be able to do anything with the information unless you were directly connected to the access point either by ethernet wire or a wireless card - then you can use the person's internet.

Not really. Think of it as an address for routing things. Think of it as a house address. What you are asking is like saying "if I know his house address then can I get his mail sent to my house?"
But nothing is impossible. Thats just a word meaning "probably more trouble than its worth". If you could install a "proxy" program on his system then you could route your stuff out of his connection thereby using his connection. But since you would still need an internet connection of your own in order to use the proxy then it wouldnt do much good.

Ah, no. Each computer on a LAN or WAN (like the Internet) has a unique IP address. The system would complain that there is an IP collision.

No. Each computer to one IP address only. If you force it, it will generate an error.
