Can someone just explain to me what the purpose of a VT17 form is, and what purpose it has?
I think i'm bein taken for a ride by my local garage for my MOT.

the VT17 form is an mot appeals form used when the owner of a car that has failed its mot and the owner thinks the test was unfair,if you think your car should have passed but it failed you use form VT17 to dispute the failier

Your car has failed its MOT? Then you fill in a VT17 and VOSA will check it themselves and if your appeal is successful they will refund some or all of the test fee to you.
