i have 95 staurn sc1 and the heater doesnt work cuold u tell me what is wrong

Once you know your engine coolant is heating up properly to about 200 degrees fahrenheit, then turn the heat on full with the engine real hot. Now feel of the heater hoses at the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment. If the input hose is really hot, but the output hose is much colder, you probably have a clogged heater core that needs to be replaced. If the hoses are about the same hot temperature, then look to a problem with your air blend doors, ducts and fan under the dash.

Need more info. "Doesn't work" does this mean that it does not blow air ( the fan does not work) or the air does not get hot, or it does not blow it where you want it to (like it won't defrost the windshield?
