THE CENTURION HAD HEARD OF THE MIRACLES JESUS HAD PERFORMED AND BELIEVED IF HE COULD DO THESE MIRACLES FOR OTHERS HE COULD DO THE SAME FOR HIM. IT'S CALLED HAVING FAITH.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to a book written largely by Paul who invented Christianity using Jesus' name.

not only did jesus do miracles he was also prophisied in the old testament... the jews knew he was coming sometime

they have faith in him because he showed miracles, and the news that he could do that spread
