Interesting, i know someone who's name is Lexi and her last name starts with a K . Anyways, some really good books:

Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras series by Scott Westerfeld is good. Besides that, try:

The Inheritance Trilogy(Eragon, Eldest) by Cristopher Paolini

His Dark Materials(The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass) by Phillip Pullman

The Prydian Chronicles( The Book of Three, The Black Cauldron, The Castle of Llyr, Taran Wanderer, The High King) by Lloyd Alexander

Dragon Rider by Corneila Funke

Artemis Fowl Series( Artemis Fowl, The Artic Incident, The Eternity Code, The Opal Deception, The Lost Colony) by Eoin Colfer

Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Free Throws by Janette Rallison

It's a Mall World After All by Janette Rallison

Fame, Glory, and Other Things on My To Do List by Janette Rallison

All's Fair in Love, War, and High School by Janette Rallison

Keys to the Kingdom(MIster Monday, Grim Tuesday, Drowned Wednesday, Sir Thursday, Lady Friday, Superior Saturday-Not out yet, and [something] Sunday-not out yet) by Garth Nix

Holocaust books>>> "Night" by Elie Weisel

other books:
"The Lost Boy" by David Pelzer, it's about his childhood as a
foster kid>>really good book=)
"Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown
The Tomorrow series, by John Marsden> just google him, he's got a series of books about this war(not a real war) that happens, and how it affects the lives of a group of teenage friends in australia. The books are collectively called the Tomorrow series. It's written for young teens but it's still good.

Go to Amazon.com and search:
"Lost from Atlantis Book 1"
"Death by Murder David Lindsay" - you have to search that way or the title doesn't come up. There's a lot of sex and violence in that one but it's not gratuitous.
and "Super Spaghetti."
They're all by David A. Lindsay.

They're free if you have Kindle Unlimited, and you can get a free trial of that - Google how.
If you don't have a Kindle you can get a free smartphone app from Google Play, or read it online - all free.
