Im sure that will depend on the temperature. The "bloating" caused by gas build up will depend on how hot it is. Hard to say. Im sorry about your horse. So sad.

The gasses inside would make the body float up--I'd imagine about a week. I don't think it would be longer than that. You could call and ask a vet though.

well the horse should float right away and it will not go under water for awhile, there is still oxygen in the horses body that is allowing it to float.

OMG!! your pet horse died in a lake???!!!... it will float second after it died if u live near the Dead Sea...... other no sure, depends on the food u give her
