This cannot be proven because it is not true.

From B drop a perpendicular line to AC at F.
Then AF = FE because triangle BAE is given as isosceles.
Therefore FE > FD
Therefore BE > BD
Therefore BE not equal BD

I think you made a typo or misdrew something.
