Seriously, don't sweat it, I didn't date anyone in high school. Yeah, you will have to socialize more if you're looking to get a boyfriend. Do you have any guy friends? Maybe some of them like you and haven't told you. (that is what happened to me, I had all these guy friends and then after we graduated they all the sudden came out and told me they always wanted to date me.) Don't worry about a prom date, you'll get one. Good luck and just be yourself, someone will ask you out.

No Sweetheart, it's not weird. What's your rush? You're still growing and discovering about you and about life. You'll have plenty of time for boyfriends later. Don't worry about the prom dates. You could always go with a friend. You'll enjoy it more because you won't be caught up in all the nervous feelings. Your mom is absolutely right about having high standards and there's nothing wrong with that. Never compromise your morals, values, or beliefs for anyone. You're worth more than that! Stay true to yourself and someday your wonderful prince will arrive! Best wishes!

Don't worry about it. I didn't get my first boyfriend until I was 16 (almost 17). I didn't like any of the guys at my school and when I did get asked out I would pretty much laugh in their face. I had very high standards. Now that same boyfriend I had is the one I'm still with and we're having a baby together and he's due this month. I'm glad I didn't settle:) Oh by the way, prom isn't that great anyways:)

No it is not weird. I never dated anyone in high school, and I'm glad! Boyfriends tend to be a distraction at school. You have no idea how many of these girls that are bragging about being asked out and what not are then 2 weeks later crying because the guy left them. By the way, you are only 15, you have at least 2 years before prom. Dont stress that now. Look at me... never dated in school, and now I'm getting married in 11 days!!!

You really don't need one at age 15. I didn't have one until I was 23. I am 37 and still not married. I had 4 boyfriends at different times and I broke it off with all of them because I have very high standards.
You are not weird that you don't have one at 15. I have a friend who is 27 and just had a first boyfriend last year.
Be yourself and let guys see that you are very sensitive person.

You are only 15!!! I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16. It is good to have good moral standards! Stick to them! You have a long life ahead of you. Proms aren't what life is about. Don't worry, don't try to impress others and remember that you are your own person and you don't need a date to make your life whole.

LOL! Well I can tell you one thing...if you worry chronically about being a failure you WILL go crazy. And then boys certainly won't want to date that crazy, weird girl! LOL! Don't listen to Amanda...everyone knows PROM is the absolute, totally, completely most important event in ANYONE's life EVER! ROFL!
