This is actually an interesting question. Quite often I see statements here along the lines of "everyone knows..." or "Nobody believes..." and I always wonder, "How many people constitute "everyone" in your world?" People make the most sweeping generalizations based on the opinions of a few family and friends. I know hundreds of people, but if I want to know what "everyone" thinks, I rely on the polls.

I've asked a similar question once before, except I asked "How many people do you think you remember?"

I'm sure the answer is somewhere up in the tens of thousands, as far as people I remember. The number people I know are in the thousands, considering my huge family, past and present friends, acquaintences, people I went to school with at any time, worked with at any time, clients, clerks who work at the stores I frequent, neighbors, friends of family members, friends of friends, etc., etc.

I have no idea. A lot because of work. I interact with at least 100 children each week at work (the weeks I work) and their parents. Then factor in my classmates, my family, my friends = a big number.

lol! um...probably tons because I've moved around a good number of times and still keep in touch with many of the old friends. Uhhhhhhh.....I'm like, almost afraid to put a number on it...maybe 500 in my life?
