yes. First there was the age gap. 2nd, it was somemore more superior and there was also the distance of miles of sea separating our two countries. After sometime, I realised that we were both very lonely people internally. After our first kiss it made me bolder. More encouraged. Action speaks louder than words. I wooed and I won. However, after a few years of yearning nights, I initiate the breakup. It was too painful. We may hear each others voice, we may see the same moon, and we may receive tons of love letters from each other every week, but we do not meet as often as we should. I regreted it but we are still friends after 20 over years. It makes me lonelier now when we meet because much as I try , it just does not work anymore than a close friendship. Maybe we were too close and even after the breakup kept each other abreast of all the happenings at each end (and these inlcuded all the others who came into our lives). I guess we knew too much of each other.

Yes, this has happened to me several times in my life.
Sometimes your first impression of someone is really not what you should have thought you them. Sometimes I meet someone and I am fooled and they are not worthy of my time. Life is short and I hate to waste too much time.

Yes, absolutely. My last gf. Didn't not want to be around her at first. At ALL. But one thing led to another and then next thing you know we went together 7 years until she past from serious illness.
