Demography is affected by
-Births & deaths- The developing countries usually have higher birth & death rates. So the population distribution on the ends is increased. The higher the birth rates the quicker the population doubles... which needs resources etc to grow.
You can go thru the 5 stages of demographic trap to study that.
In affluent countries the 'middle' population is higher with the 'dependency' ratio being lower.

Immigration- This is important in terms of refuges. The more the immigration the more transient the population will be.

Climate= People prefer to live in moderate weather than extremes. In either of the extremes the death rates will increase so chances of survival will be lesser.

Religion- Take this in regard of Jews, Muslims etc. Communities that have more restrictions. They prefer to be in places that are considered 'holy' & within the places where their religious ideals are promoted than restricted.

Hope this helps somewat.

Where I live in Nevada immigration helps the economy because the Hispanics do a lot of the lower paying jobs here such as yard work and janitorial and housekeeping. They are very hard workers and do not complain about their jobs. They do get moved up the ladder quite frequently as well the set good examples to the Americans here too.

The climate here also helps our economy as it is warmer here we may not see as much business in the summer months, however during the fall and winter, from October until late May we are bombarded from the snow birds and we have full hotels and our business are jumping and the casino's are making money hands over fists as well as the golf courses.

I hope that helps a little

Am I going to do your homework for you? Here is how they are affected-

Birth rates/death rates- affect the number of people living in an area. Think about the baby boomers. The demographics of the US during that time, consisted mainly of people under 20.
Climate - Some people prefer warm weather. This cause certain groups to live in particular area. Certain weather is more appealing. That is why Florida and other warm states are more populated than a state such as Maine.
Immigration- this would be where different immagrant groups live. For example, their are alot of Cubans in FL, Mexicans in Texas. The is mostly do to oppurtunity.
