Because love does not work evil to one's neighbor, therefore love is the law's fulfillment. We should all love one another, for he that loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. You must love your neighbor as yourself. Without love we would not be able to forgive, bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, or endure all things.

Humans have a drive to pro-create and it is the most powerful drive that we have thus far in our short evolutionary history. Why are men always trying to get rich?.........its because women have been programed to find the caveman with the ability to go out into the world and gather up resources the best. We are all just cave-people in a modern day world, this is why capitalism works so well..........it is just like the environment we used to live in, survival of the fittest and to the victor go the spoils.
Love is just a word we use to justify these inert drives to find a the best mate we can, with so many aspects of human life you can trace it back to the basic needs of our ancestors.

It isn't just about romantic love, but it is about love in the larger sense of the word: loving life, one's brothers and sisters (everyone, not just biological family), and the world we live in along with all its inhabitants. In that way, life is about love: learning to love ourselves and others. It's the journey that offers us lessons that are opportunities grow and change by learning more about being loving people and doing good in our world. Real love is willingness to sacrifice. Many, if not most, people who say they're "in love" are not really because they are unwilling to sacrifice.

I don't think it's only about love, but rather the quest to find out who we are and in the end find out the most important thing is those we love.

I don't see it "only" as being about love, but love (as in the movies) does sell (tickets). God's two greatest commandments were to love God with your whole heart, mind and soul, and your neighbor as yourself for the love of God.
