backup camera systems?

My Toyota FJ Cruiser doesn't have a backup camera, it has an audible proximity alert, that beeps faster as you get closer to the vehicle behind.

I think this may be better than a camera in some respects, because I can still look where I need to, when reversing, instead of having to rely on the camera - i.e. the audible alert supplements other reversing information instead of replacing it.
