What's your idea of a romantic evening?

A nice dinner that I didn't have to prepare or clean up after!
I love to get dressed up and go out sometimes. Women need an excuse to wear their finery sometimes! Some of us get depressed looking in the closet and seeing things with the tags still on that have gone out of style, cause we never had an occasion to wear them! Remind us what it feels like to be feminine.
A good movie, romantic comedies or "chick flicks" work well for a romantic evening. Or something scary, to chase her into your arms! It can be at a theatre or just cuddling up on the couch under a blanket, doesn't matter. Sharing the popcorn is a must! You just can't miss with dinner and a movie! A nice wine with dinner is a plus.
Then, if you are with your significant other, maybe turning in early? That's as far as I'm going with that.
If you have access to one, there is nothing more romantic than a walk on a beach, especially at dusk, or during a full moon! Take a picnic and a blanket, and you'll own her heart! Find her a souvenir, like sea glass, or a big conch shell, or even just sand dollars, anything unique or pretty that the tide brought in.
Just work on giving: surprises (the good kind!), flowers, backrubs, whatever it might be that she'd like for you to give. She'll probably reciprocate!
These are my ideas of what a romantic evening might be like, but it's been so long, I may have forgotten.

the kids down early and a big bottle of wine and my hubby and I had no stress for once. That would be a nice change. I wouldn't know romance if it hit me in the face. I'm not into the mushy stuff. just convo with my hubby in quietness works for me.

I just like being alone with my fiance. We don't have to do anything special for it to be romantic.
