Should I turn of my WLAN swith on my PSP while on a plane? Am I even allowed to use the PSP at all??? Thanks!!

You should turn off your WLAN on the plane anyway just to save battery power since you can't use it there. Also, there could be some interference and they tell you that you must turn off all transmitters.
Otherwise, you should be able to play your PSP on the plane - it is no different than most other electronics.

well, the only airline that has wireless internet access in flight is virgin atlantic.
and ive used my psp on delta, jetblue and american air without problems. (obviously not the wireless network)
