I'm just curious. I haven't seen it so I cannot comment on whether I think it's factual or not... but it seems that like Michael Moore's movies - more often than not it's the ones who haven't actually seen them that bark loudest.

It doesn't matter if they watch it...

You can't teach a pig to understand it is filthy... they are in denial and are going to deny facts to the pt of destroying the world no matter if Jesus himself came down to Earth and slapped them with truth.

I am not a Gore-hater, but can say his movie is very one sided. The movie explains global warming as an issue that does not have many sides to it, but only has one answer. Just as Michael Moore, the movie does well about bring up a potential important issue, but fails when it tries to tell you the answer to the issue.

Documentaries are supposed to be non-bias, and tell a clear and concise story, with all aspects being involved. No scientists were interviewed that opposed the theory.

A piece shown on the BBC, about another side of the story:

I am not saying warming does not exist, but is it because of us? The ice ages, millions of years ago did not need us to melt. Volcanos and farms put out more CO2 and hazardous chemicals into the air, than all the cars and industries put together. Its so complex, it is just simply not able to be fit into 2 hours, let alone a magic bullet answer.

And, what if a country wants to become industrialized? America and many other countries have already done it, is it fair to handicap the other countries aorund the world? Do we go to war, over a country that builds factories?

Most of our electricity comes from coal, which is a fossil fuel. Do we stop using electricity? Switching over to windmills and nuclear energy is an option, but windmills have been known to chop up bird populations, which will lower the bird populations, which will kill the animals needing those birds for food, ruining part of the food chain. Nuclear energy has its set backs as well, Chernobyl was not a pleasant effect, and has caused huge amounts of radiation in the area and onto the planet.

The US alone, has made 8 million tons of nuclear waste. And other countries such as Russia and France rely on nuclear energy much more. The waste will last millions of years, and is just being set in waste depots. Is this better for the environment?

Al Gore, even flies around in a private jet. Not a commercial liner, that would be more oil conserving. Or at least, if a private jet would be used, he could stock it full of people, to help reduce the gasoline used. It just seems, like he is kind of half hearted about the idea. He shows us what he wants us to see, but still there is no solid proof, just a bunch of half answered questions. Plus, it was not his documentary, he just narrated.

I've seen it,and it is like Moore's films some truth wrapped around a lot of half truths, and opinions. Is the planet warming ...yes. According to Gore it is 100% the fault of humans. However he didn't talk to any scientists who believe that it is the natural cycle of the planet. He showed the side that he wanted so he could sell carbon credits to suckers who believe his b.s.

Instead of being proud of their own American country man, Al Gore who won Noble Prize, useful idiots are demonizing him. Sometimes I keep wondering if those cretins do belong to a human race. Just read majority of their idiotic and full of hate answers. Would you believe that they were given by humans?

My son was forced to watch it at school so I rented it..... My background is in science and Gore left a huge chunk of the warming debate out, and that is prior to the iceage the polar ice and arctic glaciers receeded and melted way back....Ice age coming?.....Too bad because regardless of your ideology he blew his agruement when he left it out.... So now people are focused on him instead of the fact that it wouldn't hurt anyone to conserve...Gas prices would come down as demand lessoned, car companies would be forced to make better hybred cars, and the cost of transporting groceries would come down meaning the cost of living would go down...Air quality would be better...less asthma ....

I would have perferred someone who actually lives what they are preaching to have narrated it..

i could care less about the movie. my reason for dislike is his cavalier attitude about the criminal behavior in the clinton white house and his involvement.

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court

Saw it, well put together movie. Didn't agree, and still don't. It is nothing more than global warming propaganda.
