I am a christian but I love to look at and read gay pron. I know that it goes against my christian beliefs but it gives me so much pleasure. Can anyone help me?

According to the "worlds standards" their is nothing wrong with it. You have said that you are a christian so I will answer this question as a fellow christian. Yes it is wrong. Porn is a form a adultery. Yes it may be pleasurable, but most sin is isn't it? I don't want to seem all high and mighty because I am not. I have very real struggles of my own. I have done things that I am not proud of. I would highly recommend that you go talk to you pastor or spiritual leader. If he is truly a man of God we won't judge you. He will be willing to help you. Above all else, pray and ask God to take this from you. We all have struggles and temptations. You obviously have some conscience about it since you asked this question. Sexual bondage is a very hard one to break. You can't do it on your own. Get into your bible and pray. A strong relationship with the lord is the only thing that will help you through. Sin is fun for a season but pretty soon you won't be doing the sin, it will be doing you. I will be praying for you.

I don't think its wrong at all. I'm Christian too -- but from an affirming church that thinks being gay is fine.
You are what you are -- despite all the preaching, you cannot be other than what you are -- and there is nothing at all wrong with porn or being aroused or being happy -- I pity those who think that there is.
Of course, I'm not a literalist. I think being a literalist would be silly. That does not mean you should not be a literalist if you want. Do not visit the site I maintain unless you are willing to question however. Only if you are willing to look at all of your faith should you go there -- and if you decide to, particularly read the three pages under the word "bible" on the lefthand menu -- and look up the scriptures I refrence in a KJV bible and read them. You can also use an interlinear -- more modern transliterations often try to "correct" the evident problems -- there is no historic source for their changes, they just make them. It's called revisionism. It's cool not to go there if you are not comfortable with questioning.

Hy if you know you're gay then theres nothing you can do about it. And the porn thing - do whatever you want as long as it doesn't harm anyone or yourself. Thats the only moral in life that I follow.

I think that any type of porn goes against christian beliefs; it goes against morality as well.
BUT! if you can't do without, you are not harming other people and you will not take any ideas to perform on someone else especially on children (AND THIS IRRESPECTIVE OF UNDER WHICH SEXUALITY TO CONSIDER YOURSELF) at the very end I think that you are not committing any crime (maybe a sin....but let's face it there are clerics

As an atheist, I am rather impartial to porn. I don't look at it myself, but I don't really care if others do.
Of course, I think that in the context of Christianity, any form of porn is wrong.
But of course, I would encourage you to decide for yourself.

the problem is that people in church communities like to tell you what you should and should not do. Ignore them. Do as you wish to do as long as you don't harm anyone. Clearly its is wrong to watch porn involving children or animals because some harm is being done to make the porn but as long as those taking part are free to make a choice then it is okay.
