I believe at least one UK Company offers 'zero dealing costs' (I assume they make their money out of annual charges or increased spreads).

In my experience it is MUCH more important to use a Broker with a 100% 'up time' on-line dealing facility that supports 'limit' orders and shows Company performance (including directors dealing details).

NB> In addition to UK dealers ripping us of for dealing fees, don't forget that The UK Government will also rip you off for 1/2% Stamp Duty when you purchase shares (£5 per £1,000's worth of shares).

Once you start dealing in lots of £5k at a time, the £25 Stamp Duty will far outweigh the £7 dealing costs ..

currency exchanges. Your British pound is worth more than the american dollar. there are only two american brokers that I know of that allows international trading e-trade and Noble. There may be more but otherwise Steve B nailed it. You want service not cheap. I have been burned badly by cheapo brokers.

Penny stocks are loosely categorized companies with share prices of below $5 and with market caps of under $200 million. They are sometimes referred to as "the slot machines of the equity market" because of the money involved. There may be a good place for penny stocks in the portfolio of an experienced, advanced investor, however, if you follow this guide you will learn the most efficient strategies https://tr.im/fb19f
