I have family all over the place out here. But, with my mom and grandma passing last year it just seems like we dont see each other. EVER.
we were very close.
but, some relatives still dont live far enough lthough ol

My prayers in the passing of your loved ones. It is so hard and I cannot imagine losing my Mom. All of my grandparents are deceased. But I lost my brother two years ago this December and our family is just not the same. The worst part is my son is in the Navy and stationed in Florida and we are very close, but my daughter lives about 6 blocks away and we don't get to see each other enough!! Go figure.

I have a lot within 10 minutes from here. Then I have some that are about 30-45 minutes away, and I would like to keep it that way. I love my family and all, but I can only take so much.

My mum and dad are very close, within 3 miles and I love that. They are retired though, and spend a lot of time away and are havning a fantastic time.
My nan lives alone, 300+ miles away and we all worry about her and miss her, but she wants to stay put as she wants to be where she spent her time with my departed grandad.

As close as in the same town and as far as LA. Which is like 360 miles from here.

A couple of thousand miles away (unfortunately). It used to be FARTHER ... but that was BEFORE I retired from the US Armed Forces ... at least we are all NOW in the United States (instead of being stationed all over the world).

My next of kin is my husband and he lives with me...my mum an brother and sister live in the village we grew up in...5 miles away.

They live with me in the same house. In India we still have joint family system and we live in peace and harmony even a century. The system is now dwindling fast with rapid urbanization.

my parents live a block and a half away my brothers about 4 blocks away. My family is really close.
