Yes. Steinbrenner will only prove that he is the worlds biggest douche if he fires him.
I hate the Yankees but Torre is not the problem. A lack of a decent starting roation and a lineup that chokes under pressure is.
A rotation with Clemens, Mussina, and Pettite would be dominant ten years ago, not so much today.

I hope he does. I'm not a Yankee fan at all, but I feel like he's been there for so long that he might as well just stay. It's like Torre and the Yankees name go together.
