Some folk like bargain stores for shopping more for your money eg. Baked beans 16p a tin Heinz around 48p
i do understand that some people will be glad of the cheaper brands so no disrespect to any one. I have been there at times. .

The truth is there are better products than others.
But where things come unclear is when some products lead you to believe through advertising that they are far superior than a similar product.
Below are a list of products that make outrageous claims.
1. beauty products.
2. trainers
3.bottled water.
All of these products have been tested by experts who report that.
1. These creams that they reckon make you look younger for £150 a jar are no more than just plain moisturizers. That you can by fot £3.50.
2. it has been proved that trainers that cost £10 are just as good for you feet as those that cost £130.
3. We all know what happened when coca cola tried to sell us tap water for £1.35 a bottle in the u.k.
I think you do get what you pay for but this is a big debate.
Do you get value for money NO.

I find Lidl a great place to shop. They sell Heinz at a cheap price too.
I can buy pretty much anything on the cheap, but when it comes to baked beans it has to be Heinz!
Seriously the washing up liquid at Lidl is great value, as is the bottled water, tinned tomatoes and tuna. The fresh veg is also good value.

yes very true, all this buy one and get one free is a con, they put the price up and then put these two for one deals out,you should only go for these items if you really do need them,as for the own brand stuff ,their not all bad, some are just as good

thats very true.
Its false economy for things like washing up liquid and washing powder.
You buy the cheap brands and you use twice as much and they dont work as well.
What i dont understand is those people who drive 10 miles to save money on shopping :0/ Like BOGOFF deals, and they use loads of petrol to get there, hows that work?
