OK, so there's this guy, and at the beginning of the school year (8th grade) I liked him. Then he turned into a jerk and he's really full of himself. But lately, he's been acting a little differently towards me. He looks directly at me and smiles and talks to me a lot more. He asks me a lot more questions. And the other day I said I was sad and he spend the rest of the class period trying to cheer me up. I don't want to like him again, but I think I might...but I'm not sure if he now likes me. Please help! This is very confusing.

How can I be sure if he likes ME or if I'm just liking HIM again?

Well, if he was a jerk before and now he's acting like an "angel" so to speak, chances are he's feeling something towards you. Guys don't do that for no reason. It takes a lot to make a mean guy nice. I've dealt with my share. Anyways, just wait for a little bit before you decide to make a move. Maybe he was just having a good day :) If you notice that he's continuing to make eye contact with you and talking to you a lot then start flirting. Why not? Maybe he wasn't very nice before, but he may have realized he made a mistake and he was acting like a punk. Give it another try. As long as you really notice a difference and it's not just a temporary change. Guys do that a lot. It really sucks. But yeah, I definitely think he has some sort of feelings for you. Best of luck!

Its ok to like him and not like it when he acts like a jerk. Friendship includes acceptance of the others falities. Maybe when you say or do something he may think you are not always right too.

You are all growing up together, the friends you choose at this period of your life are important because they are your friends, but sometimes as you say people change (as we grow intellectually as well as in size) you may change your opinion not only of the person you now think you find interesting but of many of the friends and fellow students that are among you that is your environment, you pick and choose the ones you like best and know already, but that doesn't mean it will always be those people around you as you grow you will meet more people and so on.

If he takes interest in making you feel better I'd say sure he likes you just don't blow it out of porportion by making it all serious, unless its a mutual thing, you have so much time just let it happen it its meant to be it will honest. Try not pushing your way through life but rather sit back and examine and contemplate, this way you will become accustomed to thinking things through. Be happy!

You can't really know unless you ask him. From what you told it does seem like he's into you. The question is whether you think you should act on it. It's a bit alarming how you said you don't want to like him again.

If he used to ask like a jerk and now hes acting all sweet its probably because his feeling have changed for you and he likes you.

Keep the petal of any flower under your pillow for 27 hours. If you find it faded after 27 hours, this boy is not your type.

I would maybe talk to one of his friends just casually and ask them if he likes someone. If he does then ask him to see if he wants to go see a movie. If he says no then he is not interested. But if he says yes then definitely he is interested in you. Just try it out.

Yes he probably likes you but that relationship might not last long if you think he's a jerk.

The best way is to ask him if he will hlp you with something, such as moving a heavy piece of furniture, or some technical thing, and to see what his response is.

It is ok to like him just dont tell him yet. wait for him to make the first move. but show interest, and smile back at him. talk to him and try to make him laugh or smile.

I know you may think this answer sucks - but stick it out. If you spend more time observing him and trying to separate your feelings for him from how you see him, you'll figure it out.
