I haven't see the Oxyclean detergent. I've always used it in spot removal and then added it to my regular detergent when I had a really dirty bunch of clothes. I am impressed with it.

I only use Oxyclean as a laundry booster and I add only 1 scoop. I will only use liquid laundry detergents. And I will never use Tide again. I really like the way Oxyclean whitens colors and whites. If a load is really dirty, like my dogs bed it works better than just using Shout. Also, our clothes come out brighter with the Oxyclean added and cleaner. Tide did not dissolve one time on my dark work pants, and was a gloppy mess attached to the fabric. So it's liquid for me from now on.

My son did an experiment for school and compared stain-fighting abilities of shout, clorox 2, etc.

Oxy-clean + tide did the best job of taking out chocolate, mustard, ketchup, etc.

I tried it once, and it did nothing. I took the same garment and pretreated with Mean Green and the stain was gone.
