As an Attorney at law I would recomend Civil wedding.
Marriage is a contract and its details and consequences are being ruled by Civil Code of each democratic country. On the other hand devorce, alimony, care of the children, etc are being decided by Civil and not religious Courts.
So the only need for a religious wedding is favouring religions' economics and influence.

I prefer civil wedding because I'm agnostic.

I prefer neither. I like the live in lifestyle. But if I had to have one of those, I would say civil. I just couldn't convert to any religion. For instance, to get married in the catholic church, you have to become a catholic. It would be another cold day in hell before I would be a catholic. I don't like roman catholicism.

Um, probably civil. The idea of having someone talk about religion seems a little strange to me.

Civil.
Because the wedding, and generally as a sense the marriage is a contract and a union between 2 people.
They dont need glamorous things to show anything.
Then, in case they want religious, they can find a calm holy place, without glamour, a romantic one to live their union
