Take your leaf and place it between two pieces of wax paper. Cover with an old towel, cloth or piece of paper and use an iron, set to warm, to seal the two pieces of wax paper together. Avoid scorching the leaf by keeping the iron moving at all times. Allow it to cool at first and then trim around your leaf. Be sure to leave a narrow margin around the leaf so the paper stays sealed.

Here's other ways: Cover your leaves with a water and glycerin solution; Microwaving or Pressing in a book:

Good Luck! Hope this helps.

Hmm, maybe. I know that if you hang flowers upside down it preserves them. Or maybe even pressing them in a book. I've never tried it before so I may try to preserve fall leaves also. But remember that with fall leaves they will dry out and become frail, so it would be very easy to chip of parts of the leaves and get scattered around your home. I don't know if it's possible but maybe laminating it and then cut around the leaf? Interesting question none the less though.

Another thing you could do is to press the leaf into cement to make pretty garden stones. When the leaf is pressed into wet cement and then gently removed you have the designs of the leaf. Very pretty results!
