1.) both, but I prefer the store when gift shopping, much as I hate it!
2.) no list, I buy what I think they'll like
3.) I started in January and I buy all year long, lots to buy for in our big family.

both-online and in store. it was so convenient working at old navy last year. every season, i'm in a different retail environment so that's where most of my ideas/gifts come from
i do make a list as far as people i plan on buying for, just to get some sort of budget going
and hell no, i haven't started yet! it's not even halloween!

early on line in case what i get is chinese crap. last minute in stores. no list. i just get in the psychic zone and buy what i am told to buy. yes, i started 2mo ago
