I plan to get married in a couple of weeks. And I plan on getting married at the court house. So I was wondering can you get married the same day you get your marriage liscence?

As I understand NC Law, you could have the preacher and your fiance waiting outside the clerks office door!
But don't rely on me, simply ask the magistrate at the clerk of courts office. They will be the final word on the legalities of getting married.
