No, there's no such refund. If someone told you they are and asked for your bank account info, sounds like they are trying to scam you.

A number of years ago, when the child tax credit was new, they did issue the credits early - that was a one-time thing, and a long time ago.

If you got an e-mail asking for your bank details to make a tax refund deposit to your bank, call your bank IMMEDIATELY as you are being scammed! The scammers will drain your account in a New York minute!
