That it is a vacation home came to mind first, but then I realized that you don't live in it. So I'm guessing that you own a home in Colorado, but you rent it out or allow family members to live there.

I would say that what you really mean is that you own a house in Colorado, but you don't live in it. A home is where you actually live and you attach emotional importance to it. A house is just something you own.
