Why are they so confused about facts.
I read so many false statements from all levels of liberalism. They misrepresent the conservative postion.
Conservatives do beleive that global warming is taking place. Most will argue that the globe has been warming since the begining of the end of the last Ice Age. (if not most of us would be sitting on ice)
Basically Consevatives believe global warming is taking place but disagree as to the cause.
Some facts
About a 0.6 degree warming in the last 120 years
about 45% due to green house gasses
of that 45% about 30% of that is due to carbon dioxide.
Burning fossil fuels releases crabon dioxide that would eventually be relased as methane. Methane is about 200,000 times more effective green house gass and it can not be filtered naturally and does not break down.

If Liberals are so willing to misrepresnt the Conservative postion wich is in black and white. How are we not supose to think they are misreprestning fuzzy scince.

can you offer evidence to support your postion that conservatives say it is not happening?

Mr X did you read my question? Have your done yoru own non biased research on what percent of the global warming is due to the relase of CO2,
Thhese are relevant facts that are conviently left out of the discussion.

Every thing about the predictors is fuzzy. There is not much that not fuzzy about GW theory except the relavant facts left out of the debate.

Whether or not the globe is warming as the result of human activity, the liberal plan to dismantle the global industrial complex beginning with the US as a solution is about as ridiculous as it gets.
The confusion over the science is just a smoke screen in front of what they are really all about.

Global climate change is not a political debate but a scientific debate. People who flatly deny or accept global climate change without knowing any of the facts are not looking at the issue with a real objective view which is necessary for a topic like this. Do we look at weather gravity is constant from a liberal or conservative viewpoint? The answer is no but since some major people who were early adopters of global warming were 'liberal' it was automatically associated with the liberal standpoint. Now it is viewed poorly upon if you believe it and you are conservative and poorly upon if you don't believe it if you are liberal. This partisan way of thinking needs to be left behind on an issue that should be driven with scientific thought.

like how you are misrepresenting Liberals 100 % of the time?
So you are a climate scientist? No I doubt that. You seem very willing to misrepresent or slant science your way.

Burning fossil fuels releases crabon dioxide that would eventually be relased as methane. Methane is about 200,000 times more effective green house gass and it can not be filtered naturally and does not break down.

eventually be relased as methane.... how and when without Drilling down to great depths in the Earth how would this happen and if so how long and to what degree this would effect climate is quite open to interputation a slow release of methane over thousands of years my have no descrenable effect.

You are guilty of your own accusation.

Global warming is a scientific issue, not a political one. There is no "conservative position" and there is no "liberal position". There is simply the scientific evidence, which points to humans as the primary cause of the current warming (80-90% of the 0.4°C warming over the past 30 years, by the way).

There are conservatives who acknowledge this reality (i.e. Bush, Gingrich, McCain, yourself), and there are many conservatives who also deny it. See my question from 3 days ago for examples:

What we do about global warming is a political issue, but global warming itself is a scientific issue. People need to understand that. To be honest, most people who fail to understand it are conservatives.

You’re the one who is confused about the facts. The consensus of the reputable scientific community is that human activity is contributing to global warming.

You fall within the category of individuals who are refuting the scientific data. Why are you attacking liberals for correctly presenting the views of some conservatives? There are of course some individuals who maintain that global warming is a hoax and that it is getting colder where they live. Those types of strange views are presented periodically here on YA.

Don’t attack liberals because they correctly point out the obvious confusion about facts among the various global warming skeptics.

Why can't you just listen to the liberals for once? They are right you know. I've been living in the north of the US since I could remember, and lately the weather has been too hot for my liking. Do you even know why? Why it hasn't snowed here for atleast 3 years? Why it takes until late November for it to atleast get a BIT chilly outside? I doubt it's the "natural" heating of the earth...read your statistics! Ever since greenhouse gases have increased in our atmosphere, all of our climate changes started to go nuts. How can you not deny those statistics? Even a third grader can interpret that as not a normal sign of nature.

What does 'beleive' mean? I believe you are wrong. No position is black or white, least of all a conservative position. Conservatives are as hazy in their views as liberals. What is a liberal and what is a conservative? There is no definitive answer.

Fight against CO2
Isn't it time we required universal Federal licensing for use of Alka Seltzer, Fizzies, and Pop Rocks? Background verification, two week cooling off period, fingerprinting, mandatory fizz locks. No gas release in excess of one liter. No automatic unloading - no motorized or wind-up Pez dispensors!

CO2 kills! Suffocation! GREENHOUSE EFFECT! Save our children!

Minorities are put at risk! I want a National War on CO2! We already know how Belgium was decimated by Coke-a-Cola. Can we afford to risk American lives so the small cliques of fantatics and zealots can exercise their bubbling pornographic appetites? How many children must die before we act!

Burning the flag releases CO2, Hitler's crematoria released CO2, firebombing Dresden released CO2, nuking Hiroshima released CO2 - how much clearer must it be made?

And what about NO2? SO2? ClO2? Are we about to discriminate on the basis of Period Table group number? Renumbering the groups ws not enough. Renumbering the groups will NEVER be enough! I say, "NEVER!" Every elemental group must realize its full electrochemical potential and oxidation state, and all its lesser oxidation states as well - with equal representation!

Today it is baking soda and vinegar. Tomorrow it will be sodium hydroxide and concentrated sulfuric acid. By the end of the week butyllithium/TMEDA will be poured into Magic Acid by the pound! By the ton! WHERE WILL IT STOP!

Exotherms, global warming, penguins sweated to death... all because some MONSTER wanted a little fizz. Isn't that the way it always starts, with a "little" CO2 in a Bierstube in Munich? Computer models and their renormalized data are unequivocal: 44.0104!

Mommy, daddy, does your child breathe CO2?

Put an end to the CO2 nightmare before it's too late!
